Rainy Day Reflections

I love a blustery, rainy day
As I enjoy a roaring fire
Sweater, slippers, and a good book
Would be my desired attire

And someone to snuggle with
And hold within my arms
Be safe, secure, and loving
As we share each other’s charms

To look into each other’s eyes
And see the love that’s there
Hold my beloved closer
Run my fingers through her hair

Tell her all the gentle things
That she desires to hear
Adding to the confirmation
That I am always near

Yes, I love a blustery, rainy day
For it causes me to reflect
How important true love
And how my life it does affect
