Little Tinsel Angel

A little tinsel angel, hanging on a tree
Oh, how I wish that one of them could be me

I’d shimmer and glimmer in all the Christmas lights
Smiles on children’s faces would bring me much delight

Observe all the revelry of this holiday season
Hoping that they’d realize that Jesus is the reason

For I’m a little tinsel angel, arrayed on a tree
My hands are raised in praise, bowed on humble knee

My job is apparent as you will surely find
Bring focus to the Savior who’s loving, pure, and kind
