Healing Hands

I wish I had God’s healing touch
Have it radiate from my hands
To heed His mighty voice
Be allowed to help my fellow man

To use it with a humbleness
That only He can give
Bring comfort to the hurting ones
Restore their reason to live

For I have seen the anguish
Of those who suffer pain
I’ve also felt sincere futility
And despair within my brain

It breaks my heart to watch them
Wishing I could do much more
To restore them to their health
As they were once before
