One Size Fits All

If one size fits all
Then why doesn’t it work?
Is it a marketing ploy
Designed by sly store clerks?

I can’t figure  out how it works
It’s a mystery to me
When I try it one on
It sags down to my knees

And if one size fits all
Why aren’t prices the same?
It seems somehow to me
It’s nothing but a game

They are usually odd colors
Mostly lime green, hot pink
The racks, they will be full
Of things that color wise stink

Some are made of cotton
Others of bold polyester
Usually something so outdated
Throwing it away it deserves

So, anything one size fits all
Is something I always avoid
I’d rather wear my right size
Be properly dressed and poised
