My Library

I can’t help but wonder
How many there would be
If every book I have read
Was piled in front of me

It’d be in the thousands
Of that, I am quite sure
Because I’m a bookaholic
And there is no cure

Sci-fi, I’ve read a lot
History section would be immense
Mysteries and adventures
Reader’s Digest books condensed

Comic books by the hundreds
Paperbacks by the score
First editions that I’ve owned
Makes me long for more

I wonder just how big
My library would have to be
In order to display
All the books read by me

Yes, it would be interesting
To know the total count
One thing I know for sure
It’d be an astounding amount!
