Customer Service

Just once I’d like to call
And get someone I understand
Instead, I get a person
Who lives in a foreign land

Calling Customer Service, a gamble
No clue who’ll answer the phone
The Philippines or Bangladesh
Their English they need to hone

Incoherent, they can be
Understanding them, no way
Placing an order, a joke
Getting it right, not today

What should take just minutes
Could drag on for hours
By the time you’re done
It tends to make you cower

The product, I’ll do without
Instead of making that call
I’d rather go to Walmart
They speak English, I do recall

Foreign labor; must be cheap
I understand going that route
Please, teach them English
Or your product I’ll do without!
