One day I met the “Rock Of Ages”
My pastor was “Bringing In The Sheaves”
The Holy Spirit spoke “Softly And Tenderly”
And then I realized that “I Believe”

I cried “Pass Me Not O Gentle Savior”
“Just As I Am”, please, “Abide With Me”
The Spirit said “Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus”
“I Surrender All” I did on my knees

Then He gladly came “Into My Heart”
I was “Leaning On His Everlasting Arms”
“What A friend We Have In Jesus”
My “Rock Of Ages” keeps me from harm

In my heart, I know “He Touched Me”
And Now “It Is Well With My Soul”
“Fairest Lord Jesus”, “Be Thou My Vision”
“Just A Closer Walk With Thee”, my goal

Because “Nothing But The Blood Of Jesus”
That was shed at “The Old Rugged Cross”
Made me realize “I’d Rather Have Jesus”
“Amazing Grace” redeemed me from the lost

Now I’m “Standing On The Promises”
Of which I have my “Blessed Assurance”
Knowing that my precious “Jesus Paid It All”
And “Nearer My God To Thee” reassures us

Now I’ll serve Him “Because He Lives”
Until I go home and dwell in “Beulah Land”
“Fairest Lord Jesus”, “Be Thou My Vision”
“Great Is Thy Faithfulness” to this mortal man
