A Gentleman

One day I met a gentleman

Like none I have met before

He came to my heart knocking

And I gladly opened the door

His integrity is beyond reproach

His essence abounds with love

When in the center of His will

It encircles me like a glove

He is there when I need Him

To me listens when I talk

The thing that I love most

When hand in hand we walk

His love is a special thing

It is unconditional, without bias

Saint, sinner, He loves us all

He longs for repentance from us

This gentleman patiently waits

To come, knock on your door

If you open it you will feel

Love like you’ve never felt before
